PHE, ITI trained, CP workers and land donors hold protest | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 17: The PHE worker, ITI trained CP worker and land donors held demonstration today at Jammu demanding regularization and pending wages and release promised money in favor for them. Scores of workers chanted slogans and raised voice demanding their rights. The workers first protested near the press club and then moved on the roads with some workers carrying their children's. There was a traffic chaos at Jewel Chowk giving a tough time to commuters. Tanveer Hussain state president said that it is very shameful that daily wagers are on the roads from last one week but none of the administration department have shown their concern for our genuine issues. He said that the government has failed to keep their promises of releasing salaries on our religious festivals despite giving so many ultimatums to the government. We and our families are starving but department has no interest towards our issues. He added that the government should immediately release the pending wages of all the daily wagers without any delay. Also during the SRO it was assured that proper wages head will be formed and daily wagers will be getting regular salaries without any delay. Tanveer demanded that the government should keep their promises and should release all the salaries and there will be no compromise on the pending salaries and strike will continue until all the pending salaries are cleared. Vice President Deepak Gupta warned the administration that if soon administration fails to address their demands than our protest will turn aggressive and government should regularize all the daily wagers without any delay. |
