DySP starts approaching seniors to stop his transfer | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 17: Sensing his transfer, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) who is posted as DySP Headquarters in Jammu-Kathua-Samba JKS Range has started approaching senior officers in Police Headquarters (PHQ) in order to ensure that he is not transferred. Sources said that the officer in question was posted on the said post over one year ago and now after being informed by someone in Police Headquarters that he would be transferred from the said post for further posting in battalion, he started visiting senior police officers. "The DySP is also in touch with senior police officers telephonically for managing his next posting," said sources adding that the officer insisted them for dropping his name from transfer list. If sources are to be believed, the officer has also offered them for managing choicest posting of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) if they failed to drop his name from the transfer list. Sources said that prior to the present posting, the said DySP remained posted in an area where flow of VVIPs and senior officer is very high and there he developed relations with senior police officers. Presently the DySP is posted on a vital post where police stations along the National Highway fall under his jurisdiction. It is pertinent to mention here that the said DySP few months back had some confrontation with his Station House Officer (SHO) over release of two Kashmir based minor drug peddlers. However, later the confrontation was resolved. |
