| GHS Sawani students bring laurels to school in 'Khelo India' | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 17: The students of Government High School (GHS) Sawani in district Rajouri, who brought laurels to the school in the block level 'Khelo India' sports competition, were lauded by the Headmaster of the institution as well as the staff members.
The competition was held at Government High School at Doongi from December 11 to 15 and was held in three phases in which various games were included.
Headmaster Satvir Singh said that the students of the school performed well in the first phase for Volleyball, Kho-Kho (Boys) and Kho-Kho (Girls) while stood runners up in Kabaddi completion.
"In the third phase, our students performed excellently in Handball, Football and Athletics competitions and won 8 medals including gold and silver," said headmaster. He also appreciated the efforts of Physical Education Master Balwinder Singh and Physical Education Teacher Sahil Raina for their hard work due to which the students performed exceptionally well in the competition better. |
