Jammu, Feb 3: In attempt to create awareness among new generation to keep our earth planet full of oxygen and greenery a plantation drive was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jammu at youth hostel where Salim Ul Rehman Director General Youth services and sports was the chief guest.
In the second phase of plantation drive at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagrota where S S Kashyap , State Director NYKS, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India was the chief guest. Nissar Ahmed DYC, Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal Didar Singh Chahal were guest of honour.
Earlier Didar Singh welcomed the NYKS management and youth carried baby plants in their hands.
In the premises of KV Nagrota, staff and students watched the drive carried out by tribal youth of 5 states and they interacted with each other and exchanged the information regarding plantation outcome. On this occasion chief guest and Nissar Ahemad briefed about the NYKS 5 days visit of youth to press. |
