JAMMU, Feb 3: Rashtriya Volunteer Youth Organization (RVYO), an NGO working for the welfare of underprivileged people and border dwellers today organized a charity programme in Ghani Dhrati Panchayat Halqa of border town Mendhar. On the occasion, NGO functionaries along with special invitee and chief guest Dr Shazad Malik, a renowned academician distributed cooking gas kits and stationery items amongst the widows and students belonging to underprivileged class. While addressing the gathering Dr Shazad appreciated the efforts of Gurdeep Singh Saraf and RK Bittta, senior members of the NGO for their gesture in reaching to the most vulnerable section of the society in border town and providing sort of succor to them. |
