PSS conducts monthly literary- cum-cultural event

Jammu, Feb 3: J&K Punjabi Sahit Sangam (PSS), Jammu today conducted a monthly literary- cum- cultural event at Sant Mela Singh Ashram, Digiana, Jammu. Executive and other members of J&K Punjabi Sahit Sangam participated in the programme.
Rajpaul Singh Mastana, President, PSS welcomed the participants and gave a brief of the programmes undertaken during the session 2018- 18 till date.
Jang S. Verman, Artist Multimedia, writer and Columnist on Art & Culture was the chief guest and Prof. Hardev Singh, Editor Sikh Sandesh presided over the programme.
The programme was attended by Ichhupal, former Editor, Sheeraza Punjabi, Shan Kashmiri, Editor, Jang S. Verman, Edirorial Board, Aabru Punjabi, Pyasa Anhum, Suraj Ratan, Piara Singh Dhanjal, Dr. Pritam Singh, Ajab SinghRattan Singhand others.
The members deliberated on the future programmes of the organization. It was decided to hold a one day's conference during the month of February, 2019 keeping in view the availability of hall etc. a session each of Short Story reading and Kavi Darbar would be organized during the programme. Two papers, one each on the position of Punjabi Short Story and Punjabi Poetry would be presented in the programme.
The poets presented their poetry in the programme. Pyasa Anjum, Piara Singh Dhanjal, Suraj Ratan and Rajpaul Singh Mastana read out their Ghazals whereas Jang S. Verman presented his three poems in the proframme.
