Mendhar, Feb 24: Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has strongly condemned the fire incident in Mendhar of Rajouri District. They said that with the intention to flare-up communal tension some miscreants torched two shops of minority community and also set afire two cars parked outside the shops in the main market at Mendhar town on Friday mid-night. They urged upon the Governor's administration to immediately arrest the culprits who want to shatter the brotherhood and communal harmony in the state in general & Mendhar town in particular. They appealed the people of the state to maintain communal harmony in the whole state at any cost as some anti-social & self interests are hell bent on creating communal tension in the entered state but the people of the state, irrespective of their religion should unitedly fight against this nefarious designs of such ant-social & self-interests elements in the state. |
