No call for bandh today, no curfew as well: District Administration Jammu | Colleges to remain closed | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 24: District administration Jammu has made it clear that there is no call of strike in the region on Monday. It has also said that there is no proposal to impose curfew in the winter capital. Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar said that some rumor mongers are spreading rumours of a bandh call and Curfew in Jammu. "People are requested not to pay any heed to rumors. Situation in Jammu is peaceful and there is no such bandh call or curfew planned by administration," he clarified. Meanwhile All colleges will remain closed tomorrow in the jurisdiction of district Jammu as a precautionary measure. "All Colleges in the Jurisdiction of District Jammu shall remain closed tomorrow i.e on 25/02/2019. All Government and Private schools shall function normally," Deputy Commissioner Jammu wrote on official Twitter handle. |
