Sham Sharma slams Pakistan for sponsoring Pulwama terror attack
2/24/2019 11:02:38 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 24: Hitting out at Pakistan for aiding and abetting terrorist organizations overtly as well as covertly, the senior Congress leader and former minister Sham Lal Sharma said that recent attack on CRPF convoy was one more such cowardly act carried out by stooges of the neighbouring country.
Sham Lal Sharma was addressing a public meeting at Panchayat Sungal Samah. Sharma said that in the past also cowardice attacks were carried on our security personnel adding that despite surgical strike and other operations by the army the Pak hasn't learnt any lesson.
Sham said that the Pakistan is not accepting the responsibility of such incidents inspite of the fact that the proofs are being provided to her. He further said that government of India should now teach a lesson to the Pakistan so that it may not even think of doing such misadventures.
Taking a strong exception of anti-national elements prevailing in the valley who are in hand and glove with the militant organizations for carrying attacks on security personnel and their camps, he urged upon the government that strict action should be taken against such rogue elements. During the previous BJP PDP government,10000-12000 stone pelters were released by the alliance government as the BJP succumbed before PDP which proved a suicidal step.
Sharma lambasted previous government for carrying out one sided decision due to which our security forces had to pay a heavy price for this wrong decision of the BJP government. Not only this, the security forces got demoralized with this such wrong decisions. The issue relating to nation can never ever be compromised for personal comforts but BJP while in power had compromised on security just for the lust of power.
Sham expressed his anger over the new trend by the anti national elements that while the encounter is in progress the youth swell at encounter site and indulge in stone pelting. He emphasized that the stone pelters should be dealt firmly so that this trend is curbed.
He expressed great concern over registering cases against innocent and nationalist youth while those who have committed crime are moving scot free.
He urged the state administration for initiating a strict penal action against the "anti-national" elements and sought immediate withdrawal of cases filed against "nationalists" and innocent people of Jammu.
