Jammu, Feb 24: Police spokesman said that today, the District Police of Jammu achieved a success under operation Sanjeevani in its ongoing campaign against drug menace when a joint team of District Special Branch (DSB), Jammu and Nowabad police apprehended a drug peddler.
Police spokesman said that during naka checking at Dogra Chowk, the team apprehended a person, namely, Adil Hussain Shah of Shopian, on whose personal search around 138 gram of Heroin was recovered.
In this connection, a case under FIR No. 20/2019 under section 8/21/22 of NDPS Act has been registered in Nowabad police station and investigation initiated. |
