Jammu, Feb 24: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum today hold their monthly meeting at Udhampur with Ashok Sharma, the District President of the Forum.
While deliberating in the meeting, the speakers raised various issues confronting the Plus 2 Cadre. They rued that trainings of teaching staff including Lecturers, masters and teachers were held in the month of February with only a few days for various Board and examinations to commence.
They urged the intervention of higher officers in the Department to ensure that training of teaching staff be invariably held during summer/winter breaks so that teaching learning activities of students do not suffer.
They also demanded that confidential material for the forthcoming Board examinations be supplied at the Examination centres to avoid undue harassment of Superintendents, especially the female ones at the Police Station and added that Inspection Teams for the Board Exams should consist of the senior officers of the School Education Department/BOSE only and not of junior officials/clerical staff of BOSE and other Departments.
