Kishtwar, Mar 27: In brazen breakup of the system a deep necked corruption in the department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, the influential Technical Assistant who was calling shots in Warwan block of Kishtwar District since last several years refuse to get himself relieved even after his transfer aimed March final payments.
The sources told the "Early Times" that the Technical Assistant who was a backdoor appointee has threatened the concern BDO of dire consequences in case he signed his relieved order as he claim that he will not allow anyone to make the payments on account of various government run schemes including under MGNREGA as he had done lot of hard work in preparing the bills and estimates of various works.
The sources said that the under transfer Technical Assistant along with the concerned BDO Warwan were involved in open.
The sources said that even ACD Kishtwar fails to get his transfer order implemented and he too has surrendered before the duo.
The incumbent BDO Warwan even managed to block his transfer order under MCC since he (BDO Warwan) also hails from Marwah Sub Division of Kishtwar District and Warwan block is an integral part of Sub Division Marwah. The sources called upon the Election Commission of India to look into the issue for ensuring free and fair polls by shifting the politically backed BDO as well as the said Technical Assistant. |
