| Why BJP leaders had protect Akbar Lone in Feb 2018 for shouting Pakistan Zindabad in Assembly? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 27: Keeping in view the on-going Parliamentary elections, all BJP leaders are demanding registration of FIR against NC leader Mohammad Akbar Lone but same BJP had protected Lone for shouting Pakistan Zindabad slogans in the Legislative Assembly in the month of February 2018. Instead of taking action against Lone, BJP leaders including the then Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta had protected Lone when party ex-legislator R S Pathani had moved a resolution against him on the floor of the House. Pathania had lodged a written complaint Lone but he was protected.
Credible sources said that the then BJP ministers had lashed out at MLAs who had vociferously demanded action against Lone. BJP MLAs had demanded registration of FIR against Lone for his irresponsible and unconstitutional remarks.
Credible sources said that Mohammad Akbar Lone had some secrets of senior BJP ministers and these leaders feared that Lone would expose them in and outside the Assembly so they protected Lone at that time. |
