BJP blatantly politicizing Pulwama attack, surgical strike: HIC | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 27: Haq Insaf Coucil (HIC) member and candidate from Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency, Zeshan Syed on Wednesday said that there is a blatant attempt to politicize the Pulwama attack and surgical strike, especially by the BJP which has failed to evolve a consensus on the issue. Zeshan said "It is the duty and responsibility of youth to identify good candidates and campaign for them to bring about a positive change in politics". He added that for the last few months, the BJP and its minions are out to exploit the situation electorally. If you look at the statements of governor of Jammu and Kashmir even he has never reached to the common masses as an agent of Union Government to redress the problems being faced by them, he should have been removed by now. It's a clear attempt at fanning hatred for electoral gains. As far as I am concerned "I will fight the elections because that is what the people want. But that does not mean that I will weaken the anti-BJP coalition which has been formed in the State. My decision is not for any party or individual but in the interests of the people, he added. Zeshan Syed claimed that there is an atmosphere of hatred and an undeclared emergency in the country that needs to be opposed. Our fight is only with the BJP because if they win the elections today, we may never have elections again. He added that people residing in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir are firmly against the trifurcation of the State and they are for devolution of powers at the regional, block and panchayat levels to put an end to "discrimination" in development. |
