Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 4: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice in a press release issued here said that a very dangerous trend is going rounds in politics these days.
All traditional Political Parties are spreading the massage that if such & such Parties comes to power than such and such religion groups will be targeted. It is totally a false idea /agenda being spread by these traditional political parties only to mislead poor people so the public should see only the merit of the candidate and vote him/her to power whatever his political affiliations.
The present situation in the country in general & J&K state in particular is due to the corrupt and caste based politics being played by all these political parties. The need of the hour is to unitedly irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion or region should expose and vote against all these political Parties. No Hindu, Muslim, Sikh are safe in this corrupt & caste based politics.
Reminding Omar Abdullah of the unprecedented poll riggings in 1987 when his father joined hands with the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the activists said it was during said Rajiv Gandhi and Farooq Abdullah accord where in about two dozen leaders of Muslim United Front (MUF) actually got elected but were arbitrarily declared defeated in J&K. This was the open murder of democracy & its democratic values at the hands of none but central Government in connivance with State Govt. This resulted in wide spread resentment against the Govt. like wild fire & this prompted the MUF leaders to vow "What could not be achieved with ballot will now be snatched with bullets". And this masked the beginning of open blood bath, loot & arson which we are harvesting till today, they said and added that both these Political Parties who are the main architects of present confusion, chaos and mayhem, are talking of giving an end to the perpetual spate of discrimination and neglect against one region or the other.
Reminding Mehbooba Mufti of her Statement in 2015 when she was Member Parliament "That in India, Muslims are free and safe because of Hindus who have always been tolerant. It is the only country where Muslims can breathe in free air as compared to other so called Islamic Countries like Syria, Pakistan or Afghanistan etc where one sect of Muslims kill another sect of Muslims every hour but no one can complain and it is only in India that an iota of injustice done to Muslims by mistake invites a great resentment both as from Muslims and from Hindus. Then how is it that intolerance is prevalent in India than in any Muslim country? All this propaganda is spread by defeated Politicians who want to fish in troubled water."
The members said that it is the real face of Kashmir politics because PDP was in power in J&K & Mehbooba Mufti was waiting to step into Chair of Chief Minister of the State. On the other hand Mr. Farooq Abdullah, when in power used to talk of Kashmir as an integral part of India. And when jobless out of power, totters of weak Indian Forces who cannot take back POK from Pakistan & that nobody save the people of J&K from terrorists. Their languages differ when they are in power and out of power. Such persons are not worth to be considered but to be thrown to dust and ashes.
They appealed the people of state irrespective of religion or region to read the writings on the wall and don't fall in trap of false promises and deceptive statements of all these tested political parties. They should not give another chance to these tested political parties & prepare ourselves for a holistic socio-political change in the state as done by the wise people of Delhi for a complete socio- political & economic transformation in the system of governance with delivery of justice on door steps of common man. In Lok Sabha Election the voters must rise above the consideration of party politics, religion, caste etc and exercise the voting power to elect only honest and efficient representatives and where there is no scope of such exercise, they should press the NOTA button of EVMs.
