Art of Living conducted Happiness Course

Jammu, Apr 4: The Art of Living (AOL), Jammu chapter conducted "Happiness Course" in Gain Mandir ,Trikuta nagar Jammu, Village Marh, Nagrota , Dr Mengis Clinic and Kathua. The Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's unique Sudarshan Kriya was taught in workshop conducted for 5 Days with 3 hours sessions every day, where scores of people joined the program.
Dedicated Team the Art of Living teachers which included Mamta and Ajay gupta conducted and volunteers the programme.
Apart from the powerful breathing techniques, Yoga, Pranayama and meditation, the program also had interactive wisdom sessions that provided practical life tools to handle any difficult or stressful situation in life. Neelam, another AOL teacher, doing commendable Job at rural belts of J&K for social up liftment of society took the happiness program at Village Marh, Nagrota, whereas Bhagwati Prashad and Dr Nitin Sharma Faculties from AOL Kathua relentlessly took sessions for 5 days of this workshop at premises of Dr Mengis Clinic, Kathua. The cornerstone of the Happiness Program is the Sudarshan KriyaTM, a powerful rhythmic breathing technique cognized by Gurudev. "This unique breathing technique eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving one calm yet energized, focused yet relaxed with resultants of reduced heart rate and blood pressure , Significant reductions in anxiety, Improved immune cell counts", added Ajay kapoor, State coordinator -Art of living Bureau of Communication & District Development committees
"Stress is when you have too much to do, very little time to do it and no energy to do the task," says Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. "But what you can do is increase your energy. Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and Sudarshan Kriya give you more energy for the day and make you more productive", he added.
