rajouri, May 7: District Police Rajouri today recovered thirty litres of desi liquor that was kept in a forest area for further sale among people.
Based upon information, a team of police headed by SHO Dharamsal Amit Singh along with Teryath police post incharge, Sub Inspector, Habib Pathan under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma launched an operation in general forest area of Treru village.
During operation, police team recovered thirty litres of Desi liquor that was kept stored in bushes by the manufacturers with aim to sale it further among the masses. Liquor was seized on the spot and cognizance has been taken in local police station. Police team also held meeting with villagers in the area warning them to desist from any such practice of illegal manufacturing and sale of liquor. |
