Jammu, May 7: Jammu Heritage Society organized a programme at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu wherein Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest and Neeraj Puri Councilor of Trikuta Nagar was the guest of Honour. The president of the said society Bhuvneshwar Gandotra welcomed the Mayor & Councilor for attending the function by sparing their precious time. Ajesh Rohmetra General Secretary conducted the proceedings, while Manish Gupta, General Secretary Chamber of commerce presented vote of thanks. Other members were present Amit Goel, Treasurer, Om parkash Mahajan Chairman, Sanjay Mahajan Secretary, Ravinder Mittal Executive Member, Paras Gupta, Jaswinder Singh Bedi, General Secretary, Railway station hotels and lodges association, Rajinder Saraf, General Secretary, Shiv market Railway station and Varinder Khurana. A number of demands in the shape of memorandum was put forth by the Heritage Society before the inviting guests for the welfare of Jammu city which includes garbage collection on door to door basis & another in bins collection which may be done by awareness through concerned councilors of respective wards to ensure cooperation by all house owners, over ground bins may be converted into underground bins with sensors so that when they are filled upto70% automatic signal goes for their removal /empty, defunct street lights on flyovers & other major roads from railway station to Channi may immediately be rectified, leakage of PHE water pipes may be got plugged. |
