A transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) overran the runway while leaving from the Mumbai airport to the Yelahanka air force station near Bengaluru in Karnataka, officials said on Wednesday.
No injury was reported after the AN-32 aircraft overran runway 27 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport late on Tuesday night, officials said. It, however, caused a delay in flight operations by 20 minutes, they added.
The secondary runway 32 is being used at the airport since the incident, authorities said. |
