| Cops wear saffron scarves at Digvijaya Singh rally in Bhopal, DIG says not our men | | |

Several people on Wednesday raised objections after police personnel in civil uniform sported saffron scarves at a political roadshow in Bhopal.
Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Bhopal, Digvijaya Singh, was accompanied by Namdeo Das Tyagi, also known as Computer Baba, for the particular roadshow.
However, one of the on-duty police personnel told news agency ANI that they were "made to wear this", following which objections were raised.
Police told India Today TV that the arrangement was part of the security measures and added that this is the "standard operating procedure". They also said that the measure was undertaken as a drill for BJP candidate Pragya Singh Thakur's roadshow in the evening.

"We and the organisers of the event had enrolled volunteers and we have no say in as to what volunteers wear. No police personnel wore scarves of any color," he said.
Many seers on Wednesday went to Bhopal to support Congress candidate Digvijaya Singh, who is contesting against Sadhvi Pragya in the upcoming phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Computer Baba, who has extended support to Digvijaya Singh, has been telling fellow seers that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had "fooled" the community by using the Ram Mandir issue as a political tool.
"BJP has fooled not just the public but the community of seers as well. All sadhus who are with me unanimously say that without a Ram Mandir there will not be a Modi government again, we are holding the Yagna to ensure Digvijaya Singh's win," he said on Monday.
Computer Baba had earlier said that more than 7,000 seers from all over the country will camp in Bhopal for three days and campaign for Digvijaya Singh.
Namdeo Das Tyagi or Computer Baba was appointed the Minister of State (MoS) position in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government but he openly rebelled against the BJP after being denied a party ticket for the state assembly elections held in Madhya Pradesh.
