| Police averted J&K Bank ATM theft incident, one held | | |
Jammu, June 7: Kathua Police averted ATM theft incident in Billawar town and saved the bank money, apprehended one notorious thief.
Reports revealed that the incident took place in the intervening the night when a notorious thief namely Bhushan Kumar son of Punnu Ram resident of Dhar Mahanpur Kathua attempted to break open the ATM machine installed in the main market of Billawar town to loot the money. But the alert team of Billawar Police SHO PS Billawar reacted instantly and arrested the accused.
Police registered a case FIR no 68/2019 under section 380, 511 RPC against the accused and investigation set into motion to ascertain his involvement earlier such incidents not only in District Kathua but outside the district also. |
