| JK Taekwondo team leaves for Olympic ranking championship | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 7: Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo team today left to participate in 2nd Open International Taekwondo Olympic Ranking Championship 2019, slated to be held at Hyderabad.
According to press release, the team was flagged by Chander Mohan Sharma (Member Human Rights Commission & Chairman Tawi Bachao Andolan) at Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade.
The event is going to be held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana from 11th to 16th june, 2019. The team was comprised of 55 members from whole state out of which 20 are girls. Many sports dignitaries were also present during the said event.
Nissar Hussain (vice President JKTA) along with sports dignitaries Ramesh Chander Sharma (Joint sec. JKTA/ Manager BPSP), Atul Pangotra (International Referee/Referee Chairman TFI), Anuj Sharma (organizing sec. JKTA) and Shailendar Sharma (Legal Advisor to JKTA) presented the Official "Mascot" of 2nd India Open International Olympic Ranking Championship to Chander Mohan Sharma. |
