High Court indicts Munsiff, govt removes him | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 24: An inquiry Officer appointed by the High Court has indicted Javed Ahmad Naik, Munsiff and has suspended him on the charges already served upon him. The Court gave him the chance to defend himself and present the report to the Full Court of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir. "Whereas, after having considered the inquiry report the Hon'ble Court came to the conclusion that Shri Javed Ahmad Naik, Munsiff (under suspension) be removed from the services under rule 30 (vii) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services(Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956," observed the Court. The Court further observed that a show cause notice was, accordingly, served upon the delinquent officer to make representation on the proposed penalty. "Whereas, the Full Court after having considered the representation made by Shri Javed Ahmad Naik, Munsiff (under suspension) recommended to Hon'ble Governor the imposition of the penalty of removal from services on Shri laved Ahmad Naik, Munsiff (under suspension) under rule 30(vii) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services(Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956," said the Court. Now, therefore, the Governor, after having considered and accepted the recommendation of the Hon'ble High Court, is pleased to order the removal of Javed Ahmed Naik Munisff under suspension from services with immediate effect. |
