Jammu, July 24: Bhartiya Kala Sangam organized a folk dance festival under grant in aid from Sangeet Natak Academy New Delhi, at K.L. Sehgal Hall, Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
On the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Chairman, Public Health & Sanitation Committee JMC was the Chief guest.
Jeet Kumar Angral, Chairman, Social Justice Committee JMC, Suraj Parkash Padha Chairman Swachh Bharat Committee JMC, Kuldeep Kumar, Rajesh beside others were present on the occasion.
Baldev Singh Billawaria lauded the efforts of Bhartiya Kala Sangam (Regd.) to promote and develop Dogri folk songs and dances besides making the younger generation to understand and to come close to our heritage values. The event was ably conducted by Kusum Tickoo, renowned anchor of Radio and TV and Vote of thanks presented by Romesh Singh Chib, Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam (Regd.). |
