Engineers to sit in Basholi, Billawar to supervise tourism works: DDC | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 24: In order to influx briskness in the working of Billawar Duggan Development Authority (BDDA) and Bani-Basholi Development Authority (BBDA), District Development Commissioner, Dr. Raghav Langer in a written order directed the Executive Engineers of both the Development authorities along with their attached staffs to sit at least three days in a week at Billawar and Basohli respectively to supervise the development works on regular basis. He said that both the officials had been stationed in Lakhanpur for the past two years despite creation of Bani-Basholi and Billawar-Duggan Development Authorities. He further directed all the officers of these two Development Authorities to work in tandem with concerned ADCs for timely execution of ongoing projects. To develop Tourist infrastructure and to increase tourist inflow it is necessary that the Executive Engineers must sit at the place of execution of works for close monitoring and coordination, DDC added. |
