| Army foils infiltration bid by Pakistani terrorists in Machil Sector | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 27: Indian Army foiled a massive infiltration bid by Pakistani terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Machil sector on Saturday, ANI news agency reported. One soldier was also martyred in the operation along the LoC. The incident took place at 2:20 pm when alert troops saw a group of terrorists from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) trying to enter the Indian side of the border. The terrorists opened fire at security force personnel who were trying to stop them. The Army soldiers retaliated befittingly, forcing the terrorists to retreat back. A soldier took the hit during the brief encounter and succumbed to the injuries. |
