Early Times Report BISHNAH, July 27: The locals of Bishnah Ward number 2, have strongly criticized the Municipal Committee Bishnah for their failure to provide basic amenities due to which rain water today barged into their houses. The spectre at the lane of Ward number 2 was speaking volumes of carelessness about the authorities, which have failed to do anything. "It seems Ache Din Have finally come, which is evident from the garbage filled rain water has started entering to our houses. For the last over one decade the rain water has been entering the houses of the locals whenever there is rain", a local said, adding that during rains, reptiles including snakes, worms entered into the houses, endangering the lives of the locals. Corporator Ramesh Lal said that the drain constructed by the authorities was actually shallow and was above the level of the lanes, due to which the water, passing through the drain, ultimately entered into the houses. The locals further castigated the authorities which allegedly behaved like seasonal frogs, who only started cleanliness of the area during the rainy season. "Most of the residents of the locality are very poor and during every elections, the politicians trying to lure them by one or other means but none bother about them after getting the votes and these people are worst ignored", the locals said, adding that the local authorities have been failing the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narender Modi. |
