From 'Hindu CM' to 'Our CM' BJP takes U-turn | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 27: BJP state president Ravinder Raina today declared at Srinagar that the next chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir will be from his party. Raina said BJP will come to power on its own in the state and would install its own chief minister in J&K. Today's statement of BJP is U-turn by the party because earlier leaders of the Saffron Party were assuring people of Jammu region that party will install a Hindu chief minister in J&K. But party has now taken a U-turn because promise of 'Hindu chief minister' has been replaced by 'Our chief minister'. Credible sources said that party has taken this U-turn only to befool the people because BJP has decided to speak different language in different regions. In Kashmir Valley party will promise to install its own chief minister but in Jammu region leaders will promise Hindu chief minister. Credible sources said that by coining the slogan of 'own chief minister' instead of Hindu chief minister BJP is trying to someone from Kashmir Valley to install as chief minister at the cost of Jammu region. Raina today said, " BJP will form its own government in Jammu and Kashmir after upcoming assembly elections and the chief minister will be from the BJP,". Launching a scathing attack on the PDP and the National Conference (NC), Raina said leaders of both the parties had plundered the resources of the state and exploited the people. While, the Narendra Modi government with the slogan of "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas" has ensured that every section of the society gets justice. Raina was in Srinagar in connection with the membership drive of the party. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan came especially for today's function at Srinagar. |
