Indian Hawks Roller Club Skaters shine in State Championship 2019 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 10: In the recently concluded State Roller Skating Championship 2019 organised by Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) at Peerkho Skating Rink, skaters of Indian Hawks Roller Skating Club brought laurels to the club by dominating the podium by fetching 36 medals. Vansh Jamwal won three gold medals in inline speed under-7 category in boys section while Ruhika Sharma, who bagged three gold medals in under-14 inline girls section. Garima Jamwal bagged three gold medals in under-17 girls inline. Manya Sharma bagged three silver medals in under-11 inline girls and Ranveer Singh Shan bagged one gold, one silver and one bronze medal in under-14 inline boys. Vanshaj Sharma bagged one bronze in under-17 Inline. In under-9 Quads boys, Puneesh Puri won three gold medals. In under-11 girls, Prageet bagged a gold and two silver and Tamana won two gold medals. In under-14 Boys Samarjot Singh bagged three gold, Uday Sharma won three silver and Angad Singh secured three 3 bronze medals. In under-17 boys, Kartikeya Puri got three gold and Surya Sharma bagged three silver medals. Parents Association of Indian Hawks Club thanked Arjun Gandotra who is world number 11 International Speed Skater and State awardee as well as Sher-e-Kashmir awardee for being an inspiration to the young skaters of the club. |
