Jammu, Oct 10: Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP) has demanded hostel facility for all students in Jammu university.
Addressing media persons, Shubam Amar, ABVP President Jammu said that Jammu University has been celebrating its 50th year but still the facilities are not available to the students, especially hostels.
He said that demands for new hostels have been given many times by us, we have also proposed to hire rented accommodation for adjusting the left out students, but the university has shown least concern towards these genuine demands.
Secondly, he said that WiFi is available for free in Central University and Cluster University campuses but Jammu University has been charging Rs.1000/- for the same, Jammu University has refunded Rs.500/- last year after the protests but our demand is still for the free wifi in the jammu university campus. |
