Jammu, Oct 10: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (JKEJAC) today extended support to the ongoing strike of Power Development Department (PDD) employees. According to press release, a meeting was held under the JKEJAC was held today under chairmanship of S. Balwinder Singh, President, who put forth the following demands of the employees/PSU and Pensioners for the redressal of the same at the earliest. Their demands include implementation of 7th CPC in Toto in favour of the Employees of Public Sector, including Pensionery benefits, to release the Dearness Allowance (DA) in favour of employees of State Government including PSU, implementation of Mediclaim Policy in favour of employees of State Government including PSU, to remove SRO 202 & granting full Pay benefits to the Employees appointed under this SRO, to grant full Pay benefits to the Employees regularized under SRO-520, to remove New Pension Scheme (NPS) and give full Pensionery benefits to the employees appointed under this Scheme ( i.e. after 01.01.2010).
