Jammu, Oct 10: Jammu University teacher association (JUTA) celebrates its annual day function in Brigadier Rajinder Singh auditorium today. The annual day function of the JUTA held primarily for the teaching fraternity of the university wherein the felicitation of the retired teachers is always the key part of function. Prof. Manoj K. Dhar (Vice-chancellor, University of Jammu) was the Chief Guest of the programme. In his presidential remarks, Vice-chancellor Prof. Manoj K. Dhar appreciated the two years term of the outgoing JUTA team and also liked the programme particularly the performance by the young artists of the university of Jammu.
The key highlights of the programme were the Felicitation of the retired teachers, dance performance, songs and bharatnatyam by the students of the university.
The renowned daughter of the soil Ms. Sonali Dogra( voice of Punjab) moves everyone in the hall . the programme begins with the welcome address and presentation by Prof. Kuldeep S. Charak( outgoing president of JUTA) followed by the bharatnatyam performance By Ms Nitika Agrawal and thereafter by the facilitations of retired teachers by the hon'ble Vice- Chancellor. The function further made rich by the songs of Sukhdev Singh and the dance perform ace of the students of Law school and Library science of the University of Jammu. The proceeding of the function was coordinated by Vikram Sahi (joint Secretary of JUTA) and the formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Samridhi Arora (Vice -President JUTA).
