| DDC Ramban inaugurates training programme on GPDP, MAS-2019 | | |

RAMBAN, Oct 10: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan, today inaugurated one day training cum refresher course for Block Level Trainers to carry out the baseline survey of households and monitor the progress periodically.
ACD, Zaffer Ahmed Banday, DPO, Sunil Buthyal, BDOs and various concerned officers besides recourse persons attended the programme.
Training programme was organised by the Rural Development Department and Panchyati Raj, Ramban on Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and Mission Antyodaya Survey (MAS), 2019 in which 20 officials participated. Speaking on the occasion, DDC enjoined upon the trainees to optimally utilize the knowledge gained in this programme for effective development of rural areas. DDC said that Mission Antyodaya is a convergence and accountability framework aiming to bring optimum use and management of resources allocated under various programmes for development of rural areas. The annual survey in Gram Panchayats across the district is an important aspect of Mission Antyodaya framework. It is carried out coterminous with the People's Plan Campaign (PPC) of Ministry of Panchayat Raj and its' purpose is to lend support to the process of participatory planning for Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP), he added. |
