Vijaypur, Nov 28: Farmers of Samba district are in trouble after unseasonal rains destroyed much of their crops.
According to the information, Gurcharan Singh and Sham Lal told that unseasonal rains on the previous night, hailstorms has destroyed the standing and harvested paddy crop in thousands of acres of fields.
During this time, senior BJP leader Arun Sharma reached the spot to inspect the damaged paddy crop and he made aware of the problem of farmers. He sought that the district administration Samba should visit and take stock of damaged crops. He demanded appropriate compensation for the damaged crop of farmers.
The farmers have demanded that the district administration should inspection the damaged crops and give them appropriate compensation. |
