| SMVDNSH organizes medical camp | | |  Early Times Report
Bishnah, Nov 28: A free medical camp was organised at Khojipur, Bishnah by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.
Around 140 patients from village of Khojipur turned up for medical check-up and were screened for various ailments including Blood Sugar, BP tests, Musculoskeletal disorders, ECG were done to screen patients for any heart related problems.
During the camp cardiac and ortho consultation were done by Dr. Sushant Kumar, cardiologist and Dr Rohit Sharma orthopaedic surgeon and free medicines were also distributed.
Dr Sushant Kumar, Cardiologist said that urbanisation is ruining the health of the patients even in the village of J&K. He also said that during the winter season risk of strokes as well as heart attacks increases by many folds. He advised patients to practice yoga, take healthy diet and quit smoking.
Dr (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer of the hospital explained about the aim of organizing such camp. |
