Karate Competition held at DPS Nagbani | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 28: A Karate competition featuring both Kumite (fighting) and Kata (form) styles were held in Delhi Public Schoo Nagbani, Jammu-(West) today. The aim of this competition was to call together all Karate styles to compete in the spirit of friendships and brotherhood. The students from classes 2nd to 5th participated enthusiastically. They did considerably well. Everyone performed really well and should be proud of their efforts. Their participation in the competition proved to be an important experience for them to qualify and aspire to attain a place in the events like this in future. Speaking on the occasion, the principal of the school R. K. Verma said that winning and losing is not important when compared to participation and perfecting one's skills. He further said that it is the duty of the school to provide opportunity and platform to the student athletes and they must participate to evaluate their martial art skills. |
