DDC reviews progress of registration under PM-SYM, NPS | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Jan 31: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today reviewed progress of registration under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) pension scheme and National Pension Scheme (NPS) –Trades in a meeting. GM, DIC Vishwajeet, CEO, AH Fani, ALC, Rakesh Arora, AD Employment, Naresh Kumar, BDOs,President Beopar Mandal Ved Bushan, Manager LIC and several other senior officers who attended the meeting. The DDC directed sectoral heads and representatives of ICDS, RDD, Industries, Health and other departments to organize awareness-cum-registration camps for all eligible wage employees of their departments in coordination with Labour and Employment department. DDC informed that the subscriber will be required to have a mobile phone, savings bank account and Aadhaar number. The eligible subscriber may visit the nearest Common Services Centres (CSC) or BDO office and get enrolled for PM-SYM using Aadhaar number and savings bank account/ Jan-Dhan account number on self-certification basis. Eligible beneficiary in the age group of 18-40 years has to contribute till 60 years of age. On attaining the age of 60 years, the subscriber will get the assured monthly pension of Rs.3000/- with benefit of family pension, as the case may be, he added. The DDC directed District Coordinator CSCs to keep close liaison with Labour and Employment department to facilitate hassle-free registration of all voluntary subscribers. |
