Jammu, Jan 31: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu permeated with vivacity and impetuosity with the conduct of MUN. Model United Nation (MUN) is a diplomatic competition in which children are assigned the roles of delegates to express their beliefs and reach to favourable resolution. This inhouse MUN was organized to foster skills of leadership than to actually stimulate the UN. The theme for the aforementioned is “Violation of rights by authoritative body of India”. The event commenced with the inaugural ceremony in the benign presence of Principal of the School, Management member Sonakshi Anand and Co-ordinators. Dhwani Mahajan of Class XI was the Chairperson; Modhima of Classs XI was the Vice-Chairperson and Amber Bhat of Class IX played the role of General Secretary. Three prizes were declared out of which the first prize i.e., best delegate was won by Sanchit of VIII class, second prize i.e., Outstanding speaker was won by Sarangveer Singh of VI class whereas third prize i.e., delegate with outstanding attire was bagged by Radhika Choudhary of VI class. Speaking on the occasion, Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson applauded Harsha, Pooja and Shruti for the successful guidance and accomplishment of MUN. |
