uDHAMPUR, Feb 1: Former MLA & JKNPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia demanded opening of Agriculture University for Kishtwar, Doda Ramban, Reasi districts having Headquarter in Udhampur.
While addressing a Press Conference at Party Office Udhampur, Mankotia said that these hilly Districts are fully compatible for agriculture in every aspect like climate, soil, cattle farming, Horticulture, Agriculture production ,fish farming etc. as compare to other parts of JK UT.
Mankotia said that the rate of unemployment in these far flung and under develop district is much higher than others parts of JK UT, with the opening of full fleg agri university it will increase the agri production and benefit to thousands of unemployed youth and farmers.
In last, Mankotia urged central Government and Lt. Governor JK for the early opening of the Agricultural University so that number of youth and farmers may benefit from it.
