ReT Forum demands release of pending salaries

Jammu, Mar 9: Jammu Kashmir Rehber-e-Talim Teacher Forum has demanded release of the pending salary arrears and fair and smooth transfer policy for teachers.
The monthly meeting of Union was held at Bhagat Singh Park Udhampur under the chairmanship of its founder member Kuldeep Singh Katoch which was attended by senior executive members.
Forum leaders lamented over the non-payment of pending salary arrears of Regularized ReT teachers and demanded fair and smooth transfer policy in favour of teachers in general and particularly in favour of female teachers.
Parbhat Singh and Surinder khajuria alleged that education department time and again has harassed the ReT community by showing their non-serious approach to the issue of release of salary arrears which is pending over months in different offices of the department and also raised other issues of the cadre.
Provincial Secretary Surjit Singh appealed Diroctor School Education Jammu to regularise the services of all left out Ret and convert them to Teacher grade 2 and 3 within days and also release the pending salary arrears.
Prominent others who were present in the meeting includes Sunil salaria, Sumit Khajuria, Narinder, Singh, Sunil Sharma, Rashpal Singh, Paviter, Subash Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar etc.
