JAMMU, Mar 9: Batwal Youth Development Committee celebrated its 38th Foundation Day at Bhadrore.
The retired Army personnel honoured, on the occasion, were Honorary Captain Om Parkash Tugga, Honorary Captain Darbari Lal Sargotra, Ex Subedar Major Gunni Ram Kaith, Ex Subedar Major Romesh Sargotra, Ex Subedar Baldev Chand Sandhu and Ex Havildar Des Raj Kaith who had contributed in all aspects of voluntary service whether it be practical assistance to others or community activities or raising funds for charity and still remain on call 24 hours a day the year round.
Attending the function, RL Kaith said such gentlemen deserve to be viewed at par with barristers, doctors and teachers. Prominent among others who witnessed the event include Ex Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal Lakhotra, Ex Naib Sarpanch Som Nath Tugga, Honorary Captain Kamal Chand Motan, Ex Subedar Major Thoru Ram Mandi, Ex Naib Subedar Rashpal Chand Bassa, Ex Naib Subedar Subash Chand Nandan, Ex Havildar Uttam Chand Sandhu, Ex Panch Narayan Dass Bassa, Ex Panch Bishan Dass Motan and others. |
