Stephens College of Nursing celebrates women day

Jammu , Mar 9: Stephens College of Nursing(under the aegis of Dr Aparna Educational Trust) celebrated International Women’s Day with great fervor, enthusiasm & zeal. All the female staff members & fourth class employees were given warm welcome & surprise party from the management on the college premises. There was a cake cutting ceremony & cake was cut by the female fourth class employee to make them feel special. Mr Manoj Kotru ( Advisor SCON) extended his best wishes & congratulated all the female staff members. He further added that world is incomplete without women. He also presented a special card & a smilie as a token of love to the female teachers & distributed sweets to the fourth class female employees as a token of love. He said that Women is the best & supreme creature. Mr Harmeet Singh ( Clinical Instructor SCON) threw light on the importance of women in the society & Women’s Day. Ms Ritu Gupta ( Astt. Professor & Activity Incharge SCON) recited a poem on ‘ Women’. Then the teachers were asked to give their autograph on a chart which made the female staff feel special & proud.
