Udhampur, Mar 9: Sahara Jagrati Manch celebrated International Women's Day at East Mand (Udhampur).Women of East Mand gave warm welcome to all the dignitaries.
Sanjeev Verma (President, Sahara Jagrati Manch) presented formal welcome address. Dr. Shreeya Bakshi (Assistant Professor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh) was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Other dignitaries who presided over the function included Renuka Chib (Miss Bharat 2016), Preeti Choudhary (First Professional Female Biker (Royal Enfield) of J&K, Ruby Dhar (J&K Police) Zorawar Singh (President Shakashak Mahasang Jammu), Ashwani Pawa (RSS), Ajay Sharma (Academic Coordinator, Jammu Kashmir Study Centre) and Pawan Kumar (Legal Advisor, Sahara Jagrati Manch).
All the dignitaries in their addresses appreciated the working of Sahara Jagrati Manch for empowering women economically and providing them platform for exposing their hidden talent. Many women of East Mand expressed their views and spoke on the importance of Women's Day in their life.
