Director CAPD directs TSOs to report at new place of postings , threaten invoking of Disaster Management Act against violators

Jammu, Mar 22: Taking strong note of non compliance of the government order with regard to the transfer of 31 TSOs & I/C TSO, S Jatinder Singh, Director of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Jammu today directed all the officials who had not joined at new place of posting either to join with immediate effect or be ready to face action under stringent Disaster Management Act 2005. As per the details available with Early Times, Director CAPD vide order No. 52/G/2020/Camp/001 Dated 22-3-2020 issues directions to all the TSOs who had been transferred vide order No. 62-DFCS&CAJ of 2020, 63-DFCS&CAJ of 2020 & 64-DFCS&CAJ of 2020 Dated 17-3-2020– made purely in the interest of administration, but till date compliance report from all Assistant Directors are awaited. The order stated that “in this regard all the Assistant Directors of Jammu Division are directed to intimate concerned TSOs to report to their new place of posting by tomorrow 12 noon I.e 23-3-2020, falling which action under J&K CSR and the Disaster Management Act 2005 shall be initiated against the delinquent officers”. The department also order that no leave will be entertained in the current outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) as the department of CAPD is the essential service department and will be functional during the holidays also.
