First time people of Valley observe historic lockdown with rest of country

SRINAGAR, Mar 22: All the 10 districts of Kashmir Valley today observed complete lockdown in response of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's clarion call of Janta Curfew. People of Kashmir Valley have first time witnessed such a strike when all regions of the Valley were completely shut down and residents remained inside their homes.
It is first time in the history that Kashmir Valley has observed such a complete lockdown in response to the call given by Prime Minister of the country.
Although some left-liberals, who have been exploiting sentiments of the innocent of people of the country, have made fun of Prime Minister's Janta Curfew call, people of Kashmir Valley have realized that instead of giving ear to such exploitive elements it is in their interest to response positively and effectively to Prime Minister's call.
As per reports, all areas of Valley observed complete lockdown.Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer on Sunday hailed people for their support in adhering to the health advisories and observing Janta curfew in letter and spirit.
Along with the other districts, a complete lockdown was today observed across the district Pulwama as a precautionary measure for preventing the spread of coronavirus. Announcements were made to appeal the People to stay at home and maintain social distance.
People of Ganderbal on Sunday observed Janata Curfew in district in letter and spirit by remaining confined to their home.
The markets and roads were seen deserted since early morning. There was no movement on roads of the district since morning.
The main aim of Janta Curfew was to aware people regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease-and curbs the spread of infection across the country.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration had appealed public to observe Janta Curfew on Sunday by remaining in their homes from 5: am to 9: pm except for medical emergencies.
