I/C TSO Marwah, Warwan suspended for remaining absent from duty | | | ASIF IQBAL NAIK EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 11: Taking strong note of non-serious approach of Incharge Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Marwah and Warwan for remaining unauthorized absent from the duty at the time when whole world including Kishtwar District is facing restrictions and lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. As per the details available with Early Times, the action came in wake of general complaints received by the District Administration from the people of Marwah and Warwan with regard to the hardships faced by the people in absence of shortage of essential commodities in the area. The officials informed the Early Times that after receiving various complaints about the absence of I/C TSO Marwah and Warwan, the Deputy Commissioner took serious note of leniency on part of the officer concerned. “As reported by AD FCS&CA, Kishtwar that Firdous Ahmed I/C TSO Marwah and Warwan is found unauthorizedly absent from his legitimate duties and is at present at Jammu which tantamount to serious dereliction of duties in view of emergent situation arisen as a result of COVID-19 outbreak,” read the suspension order issued by DC Kishtwar vide order No. DDCK/PS/20/148-53 Dated 11-4-2020. I/C Supervisor Mir Bazar Anatnag, Yasir Ahmed has been assigned the charge of TSO Marwah and Warwan till further orders. DC Kishtwar appointed SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza as inquiry officer who had been asked to submit the report within 15 days from the issuance of this order. When contacted, DC Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara confirmed the suspension of TSO Marwah and Warwan adding that he had taken a detailed review with regard to availability of essential commodities in Marwah and Warwan. He said that as of now there is sufficient stock available in the area. He said that Kishtwar administration is making all efforts to provide the basic facilities to the people living in Marwah Sub-Division. Tara further said that the distribution of free ration announced by the government will be taken into hands after two weeks. Meanwhile, despite repeated attempts, suspended I/C TSO Marwah and Warwan could not be reached out for comments. |
