JKTMA welcome initiatives of Principal Secretary School Education | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 17: The Jammu Kashmir Teachers/Master association (JKTMA) State President Rakesh Singh and Chairman Ravinder Kumar have welcomed the statement of Principal Secretary School Education to implement the right to education act which is the need of hour keeping in view the derailment of education system due to the absence of its clear cut policies. Singh while stressing on the need of regular time bound DPC said that number of vacant posts should be communicated to the administrative department every year followed by fulfillment of these vacancies by DPC committees so that promotion of all cadres took place in hierarchical pattern in regular manner. Ravinder urged the government to recognize teachers on covid-19 pandemic duty as frontline workers and provide them insurance coverage at par with other on duty employees. The Association expressed strong resentment against administrative officers who failed to resolve the issue of post less head teachers. |
