JAMMU, May 17: All India Kissan Sabha Jammu held a demonstration at village Salehar Block R.S. Pura under the leadership of Rakesh Sharma. Sharma said that the Attama Nirbar package announced by Prime Minister Narinder Modi is not going to benefit the marginal farmers in the rural areas.
Sharma said that the loans availed by the rural area farmers should be waived adding that this would mean actual implementation of the package. He said a cold storage should be in every block in Jammu and Kashmir for the support of farmer adding that government should open Kissan Mandies at Housing colonies for the marketing support of rural/ marginal farmers also provide the cheapest rate to the city population, govt. should be provide all pesticides, seeds fertilizers and equipments on subsidies rates to the farmers. |
