EarlyTimes Report

JAMMU, June 12: In order to carry out internal audit of zones and camp offices, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner for migrants have constituted a committee of officials who will visit the respective zones and camp offices to conduct detailed audit of official record.
Taking a dig at selection of members of the committee social activist Sunil Pandita said that the officials who were inducted as audit committee members by the RRC were allegedly tainted and previously involved in corrupt practices.
He urged the Relief Commissioner TK Bhat that his decision was a welcome and healthy step to streamline the working of relief organization but as long as auditors committee is concerned a team of honest officials should be put in place for fair audit instead of tainted officials ,Sunil added.
