Pregnant lady, GREF employee among 3 positive cases from Thathri, Kishtwar | | | ASIF IQBAL NAIK EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 12: A pregnant lady with no travel history is among the three positive cases found in Thathri of Doda and in Kishtwar Districts. As per the details available with Early Times, a pregnant lady from Barshala village of Thathri reported positive has no travel history other than her travel to Kishtwar on May 31 for an ultrasound at a private clinic situated in the heart of Kishtwar town while another positive case that reported from Thathri is a GREF employee with travel history from Punjab and is already in quarantine. Speaking to Early Times, SDM Thathri Athar Amin Zarger confirmed that two positive cases in Thathri have been reported adding that the Barshala village from where the pregnant lady belongs had been sealed. He said that contact tracking is being done while both the positive cases had been shifted to hospital for treatment. He said that reports of sealing of Thathri town is not based on facts adding that however people are time and again had been advised to follow the guidelines. Meanwhile Kishtwar today reported another positive case. A youth belonging to Marwah area was found to be corona positive. He had travel history from Red Zone Anantnag and was already in quarantine since his arrival at Kishtwar few days ago. Speaking to Early Times, DC Kishtwar said that they are on job to look into the reports of Thathri pregnant lady’s visit for ultrasound test at Kishtwar. He said that whatever is needed to be done will be ensured.
